Dental Anesthesia job is a good choice of career, with rewarding salary, benefits and dental perks. To be able to get the Dental Anesthesia job you can follow the following steps:

  • Obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, chemistry or other appropriate discipline by finishing an undergraduate program at an accredited university
  • The next step after you get the bachelor degree is to achieve the Doctor of Dental Medicine or Doctor of Dental Surgery. Remember that you have to get the degree from an accredited university
  • After successfully obtained the Doctor degree you can apply to a dental anesthesiology residency program which usually takes two years at an accredited university.   Note that beside the program has to be accredited it also has to meet the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology requirements
  • Complete the study period and training for about 24 to 36 month then you can apply for the Dental Anesthesia job.
